— New support groups are currently forming —
If you are interested in a support group, please inquire about availability or join a waitlist.

Finding a safe place to be with others who "get" what you are going through is not always easy. I bring together like-minded people working on similar struggles for support, guidance, and healing. Because these groups are carefully curated for the best possible helpful experience, you must first sign up for an intake interview to be admitted to a support group at The Limbic Lounge™.

Please know there may be a waiting list for some groups for a couple of months, so please call today for availability or to sign up.

  • All groups are $65 per session, per member.

  • 1.5 hours duration

  • Group sessions are weekly and are closed to new members once a group is formed.

  • A 6 week commitment is required to form a solid group of peers. You are welcome to re-sign up again at the end of 6 weeks. Some people come for just one group cycle, many members choose to stay longer.

  • Each group is capped at 6 members to ensure an intimate, personal experience with time for everyone to speak (or just listen).

  • All supplies are included. No specific talent or prior experience is required. This artmaking is for expression & communication, not your Mom's refrigerator. There is no right or wrong.

  • Can be in conjunction with, or as an alternative to individual therapy if you find being with others helpful, or if individual therapy at this time is beyond your budget.

PARENTING - Child Development EDUCATION & SUPPORT

Get Creative About Parenting Support Group

Let's face it, Parenting classes and groups can be boring with quite a lot of complaining and moaning. We get it. Your parents were your first teachers and some of them didn't quite do the best job, so you really want to learn to do better. Or maybe your parents were great, but your spouse or parenting partner just isn't on the same page with you. This is finally a group where parents can learn to be “on the same page” & get creative together —or just come on your own and explore visually the ins and outs of child development and how it affects behavior.

NEW PEER SUPPORT GROUP FOR DADS NOW FORMING - Male parents in our society have unique parenting challenges and often don’t have a comfortable place to voice, share & learn. If you are interested in a male-led and members peer support group, reach out and find community with others who “get it.”

GRIEVING - Grief Support for Kids & Teens

GRIEVING - Grief Support for Kids & Teens

Grief Support Group
(now forming for ages 7-12, 13-17, 18+)

You can’t believe it. The person you were perhaps closest to in the whole world is now gone. You shared secrets, time together, and even the same eyes or hair. The loss of a close family member or friend can often be a child or teen’s first experience with death. It is difficult because others are grieving too and yet, they don’t always have the time or understand how this loss has truly affected a young person’s life. It is important for them to have a safe space that is geared toward their age to process and gain tools to navigate this tough time.
