♥️ Little Hats. Big Hearts. ♥️
Thanks for helping us help kids!
Volunteers for the American Heart Association are celebrating American Heart Month by knitting and crocheting red hats for all babies born in February at participating hospitals. We did our part to help raise awareness of heart disease, the number one killer of Americans, and congenital heart defects, the most common type of birth defect in the country.
We spent the winter making hats as want to be sure all babies born in Los Angeles participating hospitals are covered! HAPPY HEART MONTH TO ALL!
If you knit or crochet (or want to learn) and would like to join our group next year, we and the American Heart Association would love to have you!
